Tim is the Coordinator of Physical Therapy at Denville Medical and Sports Rehabilitation. Earning his AS in Physical Therapy (PTA) from Fairleigh Dickenson University in 1996 and BS in Business Administration from Rutgers University in 1990, he brings 25 years of experience working in sports medicine, orthopedics, return to sport, and acute care.
Throughout his career Tim has improved his knowledge base learning through educational workshops and employs these techniques daily, including Mennell-Travell trigger point and mobilization, Certified Kinesiology Taping Practitioner (CKTP), and American Council on Exercise (ACE) Medical Exercise Specialist.
As a former professional bodybuilder he brings a unique kinetic understanding to his patients’ therapy, and is currently a strength and conditioning design consultant for a major equipment manufacturer.
Tim stresses the importance of not only relieving pain and symptoms, but encouraging his patients to achieve their best possible rehabilitation outcomes to ensure their pain doesn’t return. He does this by providing objective feedback in the form of isokinetic strength testing, objective joint and postural measurements, custom orthotic fittings, and the most up to date treatment and modality techniques available.
A lifelong athlete, Tim continues to enjoy strength training, bodybuilding, mountain biking, fitness challenges. He uses that passion to motivate his patients to achieve their rehabilitation goals.
